An award-winning actress.
I completed my BFA in Theatre at Southern Methodist University in 2018, training within a conservatory-level programme and receiving the Engaged Learning Fellowship for research into the intersection of American and Asian performance traditions in Seoul.
Following graduation, I developed a parallel creative practice in playwriting and filmmaking. My short film Within received the Best First-Time Short Film award at the Boden International Film Festival (2022) and the Best First-Time Filmmaker distinction at the LA Independent Women Film Awards (2022). My play Saffron Stain was selected as a Stage Play Finalist at the Austin Film Festival (2025), placing in the top 2% of approximately 11,000 submissions, and has received staged readings at the Annex Theatre's Industry Night Series in Seattle and the Green House Play Festival at San Francisco State University.
These years deepened my craft—time spent studying what makes language move on the page, what gives a scene its weight, what an audience is genuinely waiting for. The work I make as a playwright and filmmaker informs the actor I am, and vice versa. I am relocating to Seoul, South Korea, in August 2026 and will remain through July 2027. I speak Korean fluently. I am available to audition in Korean, to be directed in Korean, and to carry a full role in Korean. This is the combination of conservatory training, language, and cultural fluency that defines my commitment.
